What is data science?

Data Science is process of converting structured or unstructured data into useful information. In other words, we can say it’s a process where the acquired data has been interpreted using scientific methods in a systematic manner.

Data science process

·         Business understanding: In the first step we need to find what the business really needs and what are the objectives to start the data acquisition or mining process.

·         Data understanding: In this step, it’s about making sure what type of data we need and how can we acquire it.

·         Data preparation: Data preparation is the next step where you filter your data and make sure that you have proper data to proceed further.

·         Modelling; Here we analyse the data through mathematics and statistics, we analyse the data from the beginning till here.

·         Evolution: In this step you check whether your model is fit for the business and it meets the business requirements of the customers.

·         Deployment: This is the step where you share your findings to the public.

·         Customer acceptance: This is the final stage where you will get to know whether your findings or ideas are accepted by the customers or not, cause in the end for every business, customer satisfaction and profit is very important.
